Simbaa

SIMBAA is a highly effective acaricide that has been widely utilized globally for several decades. The active ingredient, Propargite, belongs to a new class of chemicals known as sulfite esters.

MODE OF ACTION

SIMBAA works through:

• Direct Contact: Immediate action upon contact with the target pests.
• Residual Contact: Long-lasting effectiveness even after application.
• Vapor Action: Effective in dense crop canopies where vapors can act on pests.

The mode of action involves interference with key mite enzyme systems, disrupting normal metabolism, respiration, and electron transport functions in the nervous system of mites. SIMBAA effectively kills nymphs as they emerge from eggs laid before spraying, and female mites stop laying eggs immediately upon contact.
